P0128 'Coolant temp too low' V70-XC70 2001

The check engine light is on my 2001 V70XC. I pulled the code and it's a "P0128 - coolant thermostat (coolant temp too low)". The temperature gauge comes up to normal temperature, but I still have the code.

I'm coming up on 60k, and will change the coolant soon anyway. Should I just go for the thermostat and see if that fixes the problem or is it usally a connector to the temperature sensor or the sensor itself?

Thanks!

Greg

I changed the thermostat, reset the codes with a $99 OBD-II tool and things seem to be okay now...

I don't know if this might help, but I have a 2001 V-70 T-5 and took it to the srvice department last month and was told that they were going to conduct a recall on the auxiliary fan (recall 141). I also had the thermostat go bad before the vehicle had 1k miles so that has also been replaced.
