Hi All,

I'm getting this message on my message center in my '99 S80; "Alarm System Service Required".

When the car was in for it's 60k service, I wanted it erased, but it wasn't. Have any of you seen this before? If so, what did you do?

I'd like to know how to erase this message, as it comes up every time I start the car.

    Hi,
    If you push the READ-button and at the same time push the foglight (rear light) two or three times you will get some diagnostic messages. Step through those messages with the READ-button.

    Every "computer" onboard will give you a READY / CHECKING status (thats ok) or a error set status.

    I am right now not sure how to errase the alarm message; when I find it I will come back.

    Best would of course be to have a authorized check and a software upgrade check of all units.

      I checked last night, but I didn't find any faults. I try again to see what happens. That would be awesome if you know what's wrong! Once again, thanks for the help.
