98 S70 glt turbo problem S70 1998

took my car into the dealer, had one thing fixed
and they noticed that everytime they "max out"
the turbo by depressing the gas pedal quickly, the
check engine light comes on. anyone hear about
a similar problem. these dealerships drive me
crazy and they wanted to keep my car longer to
check out the problem. any help with this issue
would be fantastic

have the dealer give you the codes to the CEL and write them down and go from there.

    Most likely a vaccuum leak.

the original problem code was EFI 414.
they subsequently replaced the Mass air flow meter
which restored flow to 12-16kg/h. but
THEN hitting max. boost/max turbo EFI 414 came
      back on.

In my pocket book 414 is boost pressure too high. Tell them to stop gunning it like that! LOL
