Steering Wheel Chatter/Vibration during right turns at low speeds. (1998 S70) S70

Steering Wheel Chatter/Vibration.

The other day I was going through the process of installing my winter tires that are pre-mounted on steel rims. (Second year)

The driver side mag wheel would not come off. I proceeded to kick the tire loose, but nothing. Used a rubber mallet, still did not budge. I then decided to loosely attach two lug nuts back on the wheel, and drive forward and break hard in order to free up any corroded elements. Bingo, it worked!

Now after a small test drive, when I turn right past 45° at very low speed, I feel a chatter in the steering wheel, through the column. It seems like the whole car vibrates. Above that, the problem is intermittent.

Did I damage something like the rack and pinion, tie rod end or some bushing in the wheel column?

Did anyone experience this?

I would appreciate any response, because this one sounds challenging.

Thanks,

Alfredo
