I'm thinking of replacing the micro switch soon on my car and would like to replace a burned out bulb that lights the gear selector. Does any one know the bulb type or model number? I would like to have every thing on hand when I take it apart. Is it something the local parts house would have or some odd ball that you can only get from the dealer. Thanks, Jim.

    special bulb - also used for ash tray light. And I think back seat ash tray too.

    You'll need to see dealer and sometimes they don't even know what bulb you are talking about!

    as far as i remember its not a common bulb. I think its like 12 bucks CAD so around 9 bucks USD at the dealer. Expensive bulb but not worth the effort of hunting it down at parts supplier or retro fitting.. I suggest the dealer.
