98 V70 grinding/rattling sound when accelerating V70-XC70 1998

I just bought this car a month ago, and it's my first Volvo. I had the dealer fix a few things before I went home with the car. It was having hard starts, so they had to replace a fuel injector. Now I am getting a weird sound from somewhere in/near the front of the car. If I am accelerating, each time the car upshifts it makes a rattly/grindy sound for about 1 second. It doesn't make the sound if I'm in Park or Neutral, only when driving, but if I really step on the gas it doesn't make the noise. It doesn't happen when I slow down either. Anyone else have this problem now or in the past?

    My 1999 V70R had a rattle upon acceleration. Turns out it was the lower motor mount, under the crankshaft pulley. I ordered the part from fcpgroton.com for 50 bucks, replaced it myself in under an hour. Instructions are posted under the maintenance portion of volvospeed.com. After I got the old motor mount off, I could see several cracks in the rubber on the underside of it. The new motor mount raised the passenger side of the engine by an inch or so, and the rattle is gone.

      By the way, fcpgroton's item number for my motor mount is 8631699, item name is Engine Side Mount. When I placed the order online, I entered this in the Customer Comments section "Lower right motor mount, below crankshaft pulley, for 1999 Volov V70R (AWD)". They sent the correct part, identical to original Volvo part.

    mine has related sound,i located it to the catalytic converter,must be a loose baffle.Check it out...
