i drove through some water and then parked the car at home. When I started it up an hour later the check engine light went on and the engine vibrated. Anty ideas/ help?thanks

remove an air pump hose and turn the motor over, if water comes out the air pump....well you get the picture. you may want to have car towed to dealer or indie for serious look.

Not really. Could be electrical. But if it is not i'd ask how much water? I work in auto insurance and most of the engine claims I see are from large puddles and water entering the motor. So before you start it again pull your oil dipstick to look for milky miscoloration and check your air filter for moisture. If you see either I'd change that filter and oil asap. dry out your intake ducts.
