I picked up a set of the side fender signal lamps that go in the hole plugged by the "volvo" badge on NA cars, but I can't find just a harness alone; everybody wants to sell the lamps and harness together.

Has anyone come across someone who sells just the wiring harness ? I know I could probably find the right plugs and put together a harness, but I don't even have a soldering iron.......

    You might just have the harness!

    Both my 93 & 94 came pre-wired. Look behind top door hinge for 2 wires that look like they are plugged into something near the hinge. Volvo put them in a holder so the wires wouldn't just float about the fender.

    Build your own. Piece of cake and inexpensive. Did this for two of son's-in-law S 70 series.

    Did you check with IPD ? They usually sell the harness and lights seperate, or they use to when I did mine.

      I take that back --- yeah, IPD has them, but I was hoping to avoid their exorbitant price.

        I found the ipd harness on ebay a couple of weeks ago, and ended up paying $41 for it, including shipping. That's a bit less than from ipd, but it was worth it to me for the time saving. The whole installation on both sides took less than 20 minutes.
