Strange noise V70-XC70 1998

Hi,

Most times when I release the clutch my V70 makes a strange noise. I took it to the dealer who replaced a control arm. This cured the problem for a few days and now a similar sound is heard very often when the car is in a higher gear and then accelerated.

I went over the suspension with the mechanic who checked everything but it still isn't right.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

    I have a 99 V70, manual. I've got a chirp or squeak when the clutch is let out and the car accelerated and when it is let out for a down shift. It seems like it has to do with the engine mounts as it happens when there is a change in torque on the engine. I've looked the car over and can't find anything. The dealer siad the mounts were fine. Let me know if you find out anything.
