first time it happened in any of my cars, but the heater core in my 1996 855 glt blew. some one sed it might be a hose inside the car. i warmed the car came back the car was off i thought it had no gas n it didnt. filled it n started it the coolant light was on, the floor was soaked on the driver's side, and the temp was in the red. car's been off the rroad for about 6 months, due to a bad tire that ripped up the fender. thats all done now. i got out once or twice a week to warm it up n drive it around the yard. the car has 250k on it i definately no the heater car is busted will it be worth repairing or just getting a new one? will any of the electronics or wiring inside of the car get affected by this? what caused the core to do this? ever since i got the car about 3 years ago every time i turned the heat on there would be a minor coolant smell. i just learned to live with it and ignored it
