    There is a Volvo shop that I have my baby service there for 8 years. Very honest and the price is also fair. It is at Markham, on Woodbine ave. between Dension ave and 14th ave. The name of the shop is AMD. Look for Anthony there.

    A little ways west of the GTA (north of Hamilton, Ont) there is a good Volvo guy with a shop on Hwy 6 between Hwy 403 and 401, called Appco tel. 905-689-4155.

    Assuming you are talking about "The Greater Toronto Area" (remember this is the internet and not everyone knows what GTA is) I can recommend two shops that I use personally. JOLEX in the Kennedy/Lawrence area at 416-757-2254. Jo & Lex are two Volvo Master Technicians that have left the dealership scene and started their own shop years ago. I highly recommend Pickering Euro in the Brock/Bayly area at 905-420-9250. Mitch and Phil are two Volvo Master Technicians who are well known among Volvo owners in the GTA. Both shops charge the going rate for independent shops @ $65/hr. Tell them Tony from the Canadian Volvo Club (850/240) sent you....
