Reset it once. If it comes back it's probably the plastic arm is disconnected from the motor drive. Common problem. You can fix it.

I managed to reset error code. And the error is back right after reset. What should be the symptoms, I haven't noticed anything. I only had this car for year and mabe the problem has been there for long and I haven't noticed any change.

Also I would be interested how to fix this.

Mike, can you be more specific as to how to fix it? Where is that plastic arm? I have an S70 that seems to have a similar problem. The recirc-OFF light and AC-Off light (amber lights) both blink sometimes when I start the car, which as I understand means there are error codes. Since it is a '98 S70, I can not read the codes as easily as with earlier 850's. I have a simptom of left side of the car blowing hot air after the car has warmed up and the right side is blowing room-temperature air. I have to re-start the car and SOMETIMES that helps, but not always. Seems like a damper is not being controlled properly. I had this problem a year ago and it was fixed by a dealer under VIP, but it is back and I am not sure I trust the dealer to figure it out.

      Please help.
