S80 Climate Control Illumination S80

The bulbs that light up my climate control panel (just below the radio) in my 1999 S80 T6 have burned out. Does anyone know how to access the bulb and replace them? I've done it in my 850 by removing the radio and then the climate control itself.

drawade,

i remember replacing the climate control bulbs on my previous 850 by just pulling off the control knobs and 3 screws without removing the radio or CC.

anyway my '99 S80 2.9 has the same problem and i ordered the bulbs from superlumination for $0.99 ea. and got them in about 4 days. i'm hoping to get some extra time to get to work on it because i don't think it's so simple to replace like in the 850.

send me your e-mail at bay13@cox.net and I'll send you a little write-up with pics that should help you get the climate control out. You can buy the replacement bulbs at a Volvo dealer, my guess is that they would have to be ordered.
