Ive been hearing lots of people talking about various problems W/ 95/96 850 turbo, and just wanted to let people who may be thinking against the 850 or Volvo in general. Im running with 190,000 miles on original engine and transmission. I've done all repairs and maintnance myself. Who can beat a strong running easy to work on car.............GO VOLVO. I will and do own other cars but will ALWAYS have at least one Volvo.

My wife's '95 850T is garage kept and just turned 23,000 miles and still running strong ! I keep looking for things to do to it but it just won't quit !

whats that 3000miles a year? lol
I suspect you meant 230k miles.

No its my wife's car and she really only uses it to get groceries, 23k miles seriously. We've had a bunch of other vehicles along the way but she baby's her Volvo and keeps it in the garage. We have another BMW and I drive my Expedition into the dirt. She'll probably keep it forever.

I agree, I have a 93 with 189,000 miles all original running strong, and a 97 with 95,0000 miles. Both run great. Just keep up the regular maintainence and cross your fingers.

and I'm at 189,000 on my '96 wagon. Orig tranny and engine. Runs great!

Oops - that 199,000, not 189,000. I hope to be sending for the 200,000 mile bades in about a month.
