Good brakes upgrades? S70

Happy Holidays!
I have been thinking about upgrading brakes on my 00 S70. Anybody got any ideas on
good, yet reasonably priced brakes combos/shoes? I am not a racer but would like strong brakes. Please post with the link to the site, if possible.
Regards, Dennis.

I installed Brembo cross drilled rotors with Zimmerman pads and calipers!!!
Excellent combo!!! Never any problems or fadeing during high and consisten braking. 1998 S70

They improved my stopping distance, although i dont have an accurate estimate but i know they did, and they are better than my 2000 Audi A6 quattro brakes!!!

you can also go with Slotted brembo rotors with the stock Zimmerman pads. The give better and consisten braking, stick with the cross drilled rotors for more "racing" function......................

stronger brakes? try some better pads if u decide to stick with stock sized rotors... cross-drilled or slotted rotors may give a foot or two better stopping difference...but they are not designed for shorter distances but rather fade resistance. ur best bet is to get better pads.

I'm going to be a bit less "religious" about this topic than I've been in the past, but I'll still encourage you to read two pages that I wrote about aftermarket brake pads:

    http://www.jimrothe.com/volvo/pbr_brake_pads.html

    and

    http://www.jimrothe.com/volvo/ebc_green_stuff.html

Also, make a point of reading the Carroll Smith article that I reference at the end of the Green Stuff page. An understanding of that article will go far toward helping you decide on the right pads for your needs.
