V40 workshop manual S40-V40

Hi, I have a 2001 model V40 for which there is no haynes manual. Just how different is the phase 2 to the phase1? Is it worth getting the earlier manual for routine jobs, or are the cars totally different?

I have a 2001 S40. Given that the only manual that I could find was a Haynes for the 1999 S40 in the U.K., that's what I got. It's my first Volvo, so I figured that even though there may be some differences, this book would show me how Volvo does things. Got mine from ipdusa.com
