CD Changer Pinouts 850

Hi. I just traded my 1989 764 for a 1996 854. Now I need to put MP3s in the trunk. Just in case 50 other people havn't asked, where can I find a pinout for the CD changer data cable? My stereo is the SC-815. I have a mini-DIN and a power connector.

The pinout to the mini-DIN would be nice... :)

Thanks in advance.

If you're thinking of adding a line audio source via the CD changer connection, it won't be that easy. As I understand it, there is an electronic logic connection required in order for the head unit to even recognize and respond to a line input. I know of one company that sells a device that does this: http://www.blitzsafe.com, but it's not cheap. Good luck!

In all honesty, I was planning on hooking the L/R/AG pins to the Awe64 output, the BATT and ACC lines to the power supply (as well as a heavy load BATT from the front), and the mBus line to some homemade circuits that interface the mBus signal to something acceptable for a paralell port. After that I would write a user-mode daemon that monitors the paralell port, decodes mBus, encodes mBus, and manipulates mpg123.

I'm just looking for a raw pinout.

$100- and works flawlwssly, worth every penny in avoiding fussing around and the sound is great.
