I really need some help. This is the second transmission I've put in my 1995 850 GLT. The automatic transmission is working fine when I put it in Reverse, but when I put it in D, 3 or L it just revs. The tranny does not connect to the wheels. What's even more frustrating is that there is no light on the dash and codes in the computer. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be???

Any advice would be greatly apprieciated

are you sure the linkage is correct between the shifter and tranny, sound like you have only R and N, could you really be in neutral and not drive,3, or L?

the linkage is usually only rods with clips that hold them in place. maybe the rod for D,3,L has come off leaving you only R and N. when was the tranny replaced? maybe they used a old cotter pin on the linkage and it has failed.
