I have a 95 N/A glt lately i have been hearing something like a clicking sound coming from the rear when i go over bumps or anything else that pretty much moves the rear tires up and down i guess ... it just really sounds like something is loose i have looked underneath and couldn't find anything .. I am tryin to find out if anyone has ever had this problem and or what it could be. Any ideas would help too

Also i have just about 3 months ago replaced the shochs and struts so i don't beleive it could be them but i have only been hearing this noise recently like past 2 weeks .....thanks

on the top of the rear shocks is a shock mount plate made of rubber with a built in heavy steel washer for the top of the shock. when they tear the shock moves up and down and actually can hit against the car at the top, you do not have to remove the shocks to replace it. remove the access plates and bounce the car while you watch the mounts. youll know if this is your problem,the part # is 9461524, about $25 bucks each from volvo.
