ok, does anyone happen to know if the T5-R's have different front brake calipers? if so, are the rotors different also?

What's the deal w/ slotted rotors, speaking of... Are they worth the money? ... also, where's the best prices on brake parts?

I don't know answer to your T5-R questions. But, two weeks ago I bought new front rotors and pads from http://www.alloemautoparts.com/. Total cost $145. I thought their prices were really good (free shipping on orders over $75). I chose them because they are on the West Coast. If you look enough on the internet, you'll find similar places (with similar prices) on the East Coast. Curiously, all these Volvo parts places use the same parts search engine/database. Are they really all the same company? Or is there one company that sells subscriptions to their Volvo parts database?

Also, I found the "Volvo Links" section on www.volvospeed.com to be very helpful in locating a bunch of suppliers. To be fair, there may be a similar listing on this website - I haven't explored it as thoroughly.
