Sunroof motor problems 850 1994

I think my sunroof motor is on its last legs; its opening the sunroof VERY slowly. My question to the board: Is this a DIY fix; do I have to remove the entire headliner to access the motor? Where can I get the motor at a decent price?

It may just need to be lubed. There are instructions on bay 13 to remove the sunroof. volvospeed.com/bay13

I've sprayed the tracks with WD-40 and even tried some lightweight oil and the sunroof still moves very slow.

WD-40 is not the best for a lubricant, rather to losen bolts, etc. I would reccomend a waterproof silicone grease. Dealer should be able to tell you what they use. Smear it in the tracks and on the hinges that move the roof up and down for tilt mode. WD-40 doesn't last all that long.
