850 GLT TYRES 850

I wolud like to know about 195/60R15 tyres price. Is it a standard (=not expensive) size? Wich manufacturer is recommended?

I like Good Year Eagle Ventura and Eagle NTC, any experienced owner with these tyres? Are they expensive?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi ya,

Here in Europe the default tyres used to be the Goodyear NCT2 which was very grippy but bad on fuel. They latter changed this to perielli p6000.

I now use the Goodyear eagle F1, nice design but i prefer my old ones.

On 15inch rims 195/60/15 is the default size

It is a very standard mid-profile tire size. The 850 GLT specifies V-rated also, but many people get by with H-rated and save some money and tire wear. Probably the most common tire used is the Michelin MXV4, an all around good performer, but not the cheapest. Others have recommended Yokohamas as well as the G/Y Eagles.

I've stuck with the Michelin MXV4+'s for a while... probably because when it comes time to replace one, all the others still have lots of usable tread and it's just so expensive to replace so many good tires...
