I just got some stage 2 (6000K) HID's from HIDS4less.com . You probably still have an H7 bulb for your low beams. They are great! I did a bit of research and shopping around and found that I wanted genuine Phillips bulbs, and Osram or Phillips ballasts. They cost more, but the cheaper bulbs and ballasts made in Asia made me weary. Give them a call. Another place is Autolamps.com, but they are in England.

Make sure you really like them for driving before investing...

I had Xenon HIDs on my Audi A6 Quattro and both my wife and I ended up disliking them for a number of reasons:

1) Every on-coming vehicle thinks your high beams are on and flashes you.

2) Although they give you greater, more uniform visual range, the knife edge focus often made it hard to tell what was being seen at the periphery and routinely startled us by causing objects to suddenly leap into view rather than gradually becoming more illuminated.

We knew we didn't want HIDs on our 2001 XC.

I ordered the 6000k HID from hid4less.com last December before Christmas. They didn't have any 6000k bulb in stock. I waited until almost the mid-Feburary this year, but they still didn't know when they will have the bulb. I cancelled the order. I couldn't wait any longer. I will order it from Autolamps in the summer time. They always have the Philips bulb in stock, no waiting and no shipping charge neither.

If you're looking for an HID conversion, try http://www.liteswap.com
If you want maximum illumination out an HID system, stay with a 4500K system which gives the whitest light. 5500K is a blue and 6000K is purplish light. Then there are the reflector/projector/fresnel/freeform issues when converting OEM DOT halogen headlights to aftermarket HID's.
