scan tech vs. OEM? S70 1998

Any experience with scan-tech quality vs. OEM? I am looking at purchasing some scan-tech control arms and want to ensure they are of quality...they are half the price of OEM, but I would rather pay twice the price than have to do it much sooner than with OEM if that makes any sense.

I have ScanTech right control arm and OEM left control arm. My dealer said scantech has already gone bad (only three monts after install). This might be due to reason that they want to screw me, but they might have a more strict way of controlling them, who knows? I still keep it and did not have it controlled by an indie mechanic. However, the one before the scantech was also aftermarket (i'm not sure about the brand, the previous owner had it replaced one week before I bought it) and the indie mechanic who does my PA state inspection said that one failed the inspection (one year of usage?). That's why I had it replaced with scantech. We'll see about this one next year.
