S60 2003 noise/rattles S60

I have an S 60 2.4T with about 2,500 miles on it.. Everytime I hit a bump it sounds like something is banging under the right rear of the car..Almost like a broken shock . The dashboard also rattles. Anyone experience these problems?
Thanks

Autosauras, I have the same problem with my 2003 S60 (700 miles on it). Did you get this fixed ? What was it ?

Have the stabilizing rods checked. It is a kown weakness and they will be replaced under warranty, if not okay.

Check if there is anything such as a tool or the jack that should be attached
to the spare tire and could be loose.
I had a rattle coming from the right rear of the car and wondered during weeks
what it was when I had the idea to check in the trunk. The tool bag was opened
and and a tool was banging on the floor of the trunk :-).

A car with 2500 miles should be very tight. Take it to the dealer.

In my 850 the clunking sound turned out to be a shot sway bar link. It is unlikely to have it for a 2500 mile car but you may want to check. For my case it was a $20 part and 15 mins to change.
