Help - stuck in middle of 'routine' job - can't remove distributor cap!

I can't get at the bottom screw. I removed the top half of the air cleaner box but it seems the lower half of the box is in the way, or I need something besides a screwdriver. Do I use a different tool or do I need to pull the bottom half of the air cleaner box (looks like a lot of things to unhook).
Thanks.

It makes it an easy job if you remove the lower part of the air cleaner. It isn't much of a job.

Use a flexible shaft cable device-- I have a Craftsman handle (looks like a screwdriver with a cable shaft, minus the screwdriver head) with a 1/4" drive tip that I used to access the fastener. Some of these flexible cable drives come in drill/driver kits too.

I do recall having to remove part of the air filter box etc, but it wasn't too bad-- so only take off what you need to. Good luck.
