Oxygen Sensors 850 1995

I ordered Bosch Oxygen sensors from FCP Groton and they just arrived yesterday. The wire does not appear to be long enough to run up to the main connectors under the air filter. Does the wiring for the O2 sensors have a plug close to the bottom of the engine, or will I have to purchase an adapter to connect the sensors?

Also, how will the computer know that the car now has new sensors? Does it auto detect, or does it have to be reset?

Thanks in advance.

I had also ordered Bosch Oxygen sensors. Make sure you have the right part number for the sensor. They are two seperate part number. The wire is short on one and longer on the other.

After I got the sensors and made the replacements, I tried to reset the sensors by disconneting the battery for 15 min. This did not work...

Long story short, I ended up going to get OEM parts from the dealer, installed them and the reset the sensors by discontting battery... It worked.
