How Do I disconnect Headlight Washer 850 1994

I removed the wiper arms from my headlights because the motor is malfunctioning and I really don't need them anyways.

I'd like to stop the washer pump from pumping washer fluid to the headlight wiper hoses.

Is there a way to plug up the nozzle coming out of the washer pump that leads to these headlights?

How Do I disconnect Headlight Washer 850 1994

I just fixed a leak in my 850's headlight washer hose this past weekend. To disconnect it altogether - I would suggest removing the plastic "T" fitting inside the engine compartment which should be right in front of the washer fluid fill spout along the inside of the right fender. This "T" connector splits the hose coming from the pump into two different hoses - one going to the windshield and the other going to the headlights. Replace it with a plastic elbow or straight connector that you should be able to get at the local hardware/auto parts store... take the T out ahead of time and take it with you for sizing - you shouldn't need any tools as it is simply a friction fitting. Good luck.

A good solution is to use a small screw at the end of the water hose. You dont need to stop the washer pump.
