Car doesn't start when below -10 C 850 1995

Heres the problem: When I'm trying to start the car on the morning(approx 12 hours without running)and when it is cold( -10 C and below)the car doesn'y want to start. New battery, new spark plugs, new wire, etc wer changed. Tests were made and only cam and crank sensor were in trouble. Both sensors were changed without any improvement.

During the day, when it becomes warmer the car now start as if nothing happened.

Any Suggestions on what would cause this type of problem.

Thanks

It could be the coil. I had one on a 760T that did the same thing. When it gets cold, everything shrinks. It had a break in the internal connection. Tech took 4 hours to find it with cans of real cold stuff. Charged $115 to replace it.

One question. Is this car a turbo with an intercooler? If so you may have a blockage (Ice buildup) inside the intercooler. This is my experience with my car. I have to disconnect the top air intake hose from the intercooler to start it sometimes in really cold weather. I have found no solutions to this problem.
Thanks

how could you have spark one time and not the other.either you have it or you dont have it.the amount may change based on battery condition and electrical system.check out gas line freeze.try a can of HEET when it wont start and see what happens.be sure to use 5w30 motor oil at these temps.

"how could you have spark one time and not the other."

Very easily!

"either you have it or you dont have it."

Wrong!

It is a frequent failure mode that certain electrical components operate well at one temperature, but not at another temperature. When troubleshooting electric components, it is common for a technician to have handy, a can of Freon (actually, an environmentally friendly substitute) and "shoot" components to cool them down. Frequently, when one does this, the component starts working, then stops working when the component warms back up. The opposite condition is suggested in eric855's circumstance, but it is certainly a reasonable possibility, especially considering the coil.

As posted previously the only time where I do not have sparks is when I first start the car after it slept ovenight i.e. approx 12 hrs. What is funny is that the car(at this specific temperature -10 C and below) won't start even if I crank for 15-30 seconds 2-3 times. I then let the car for 15 minutes and surprise it now start with a pretty impressive smoke comming from the exhaust. I don't know if trying to start does warm something... After that first start everything will be fine untill the next time night.

Battery was changed last friday and tests were done(without success)using another ignition coil.

I know this sounds a little weird. It's my third winter with this car and everything was ok. The car is now 145 000 km.

I would replace the ignition coil.

What do you mean by "the car doesn't want to start."

Is the car TELLING you it doesn't want to start? If so, I don't blame it.

Is it turning over? Is it "coughing," like it's trying to start.

Need some facts.

Fuel, ignition.

Some more informations:

The engine is turning over and over without any "coughing". The problem seems to be, as per tech, an ignition problem. Tech made tests and, when it's cold, there was no fire(ignition).
