Will '98-00 springs fit a 97 854R S70

Hi all- I've come up with the idea that maybe the '98-00 S70 springs will ease the harshness of my 854 T5 ride!! Has anybody done this; is it a straight-forward swap; and did the ride improve alot/alittle/ not at all????? Also, I'm running koni struts and Bils shocks, will this make any difference in doing the swap. Lastly, is it wise to get them(springs) from a salvage yard or new from an online source??? TIA for all suggestions/comments!! BD

that's an interesting swap. let us know. those koni and bilsteins will still keep things quite firm. get new springs. also, get all new strut/spring/shock mounts...these help isolate that harshness better when their new or not broken..
