CV joint about to fail? 850

whenever i make a right turn goin 30mph+ there is a pulsing noise that comes from the left, and when i turn right the same noise, although not nearly as bad, comes from the left side. Do CV's make noise before they fail or could it be somthing else?

    The CV's will begin to make a clicking noise before they fail. Take it by a reputable shop and have the axles checked. If it is bad, find a shop that will replace the whole axle with a remanufactured one. They are about half the cost and as good as new. Some shops will have your axles remanufactured also.
