Removing Window Tinting

I am being transferred to a state where the 20% tint on my 2001 V70 T5 won't be permitted. How difficult will it be to remove or should I just wait and let the shop that I use to put something within the law on do the removal?

    Purchased my Saab used, and it had the tint. Didn't think a thing about it until a State policeman brought it to my attention--along with a ticket for $60.
    At any rate, lots of soapy water and some attention to detail, along with patience and it came off. Still have a few small places that have like clear glue spots, but they haven't bothered me enough to take the time to clean them.
