Hi,

Does anyone no how to get the plastic cover that covers the rear windshield wiper motor etc. to stay put. I click it in place but as soon as I close the back it opens again. I saw a kit at IPD however it seems that the fix is for the whole back board and not just the plastic area.

Help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem on my '98 V70 AWD. I complained to the dealer and they admited that is a problem and Volvo had a fix-it kit. I had the dealer install the kit and I haven't heard a squeek or had to snap the cover back on since.

Hey Darryl, did you install aftermarket dual exh. system ? It was my understanding that the '98's (even the R model) didn't come with dual exhaust. Tom
