Light bulb behind the Clock/Ambient temp sensor gauge 850

How hard is it to replace the bulb(s) that illuminate the digital clock/outside temperature sensor on the dash?

it's pretty easy to replace--follow those instructions in bay 13 exactly--just watch out for the trip reset which can get caught on the front face of the dash. the little bulbs i haven't been able to find outside the dealer or volvo parts store, but the larger bulbs can be bought at car parts store--just match the volts and the watt rating.

you have to take out the instrument cluster to replace them. if you haven't already done so, you might as well replace all the other (gas, temp, speedometer, tach) lights back there since you've gone to the trouble to take everything apart. if those lights went, the others are sure to follow. I did the instrument lights and shortly after had to do the clock/temp lights. you'll be glad you did everything at one time believe me.
    good luck.

I agree. Replace them all at once. I got burned by not doing this the first time and you don't want to do this job twice!
