My wagon is leaning - Rear coil or shocks replacement 850 1995

Which one goes first? My wagon is leaning to the left (Rear). Any tips on replacing either one (Rear)? Thanks, Nick

Depends what you have back there. A bad nivomat shock would cause the car to lean. If they are non-nivomats then the car should ride at normal height with a bad shock absorber. If you have regular shocks then i would say its the spring.

On my '97 855 the shocks were dead around 70-80K miles. I think the springs last a bit longer than that. I replaced all 4 shocks, and the 2 rear springs with overload springs. Fully loaded the car does much better now. For normal driving it handles a lot better, with a slightly harsher ride as I went for more performance than ride comfort.

A lot of people notice the ride going down hill around 80K in their 850's and get new supension. The newer models systems seem to last longer, as I was in a few v70's with over 100K and the supension felt way better than mine did at 70K.

If you are looking for a little more aggressive ride, IPD has very nice shocks.
