Cruise Control Reset 850 1995

Just completed a trip with a newly purchased 95 - 850. Cruise control does the job well but RESET does not work. Is this likely to be just a switch replacement or is it more complicated than that?

    RESET or RESUME?

    Mine has a stalk with a sliding switch (Off - On - Resume) and a rocker switch on the end (Accel - Coast/Decel)

    The Resume function is a momentary connection that brings the car back up to the set speed after a momentary braking event. The cruise control system will only work if the car is going faster than about 25 mph.

    Is that what you are refering to or does yours have something called reset?

      You have described mine exactly. I should have used the word on the stalk, "Resume" versus Reset. I did exactly as you described and it did not re-engage after stepping on the brake.
