SRS Light Code 2-2-2 850

I had my 95 850 T5-R sedan taken to a local dealer for an inspection and oil change last thursday. Driving back on I-95 I encountered a section of the highway that was under construction and about an inch lower than the normal road. Coming out of this dip resulted in a sharp jarring blow to my wheels and suspension. When I arrived home I checked for any visible damage (bent rims, cracked tires, etc...) but did not really see anything noticeable. Later that night, I went over a very small crack on the road (not even considered a pothole) and suddenly the SRS light came on. I turned off the engine and when I restarted the car, the SRS light did not immediately appear. However, the SRS light reappeared a few minutes after I resumed driving, and has been on ever since. I attempted to reset the diagnostic codes, but I still got an error: 2-2-2. I am not sure what causes this error to occur, but I heard it could be due a faulty connection or part in the air bag/seat belt/crash sensor system? Any ideas/suggestions/similar experiences?? Could this have been caused by the dip in the road? Or perhaps something that occured during the oil change + inspection? Or this just a coincidence??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Passenger air bag open circuit. Remove glovebox and check connection at airbag, perhaps it's loose?

      took it to the dealer and had them take out the glovebox and inspect the passenger side airbag and connection, but they did not find the problem. They said they would have to take apart the dashboard and check the crash sensor, etc. What could be causing the problem here?

        SRS Light Code 2-2-2 still unsolved 850 1993

        I have the same 2-2-2 code with same occurrence as you have posted.
        We may share this problem with other owners.
        Please keep us posted on what you found out of -
        or maybe someone else knows where the passenger airbag triggers the 2-2-2 code?
        We would be very grateful.
