98 s 70 window switch S70

The window switch on the drivers side is in the process of working when it wants to, so off to the dealer I went for a new one.
The problem is how to get the old one off the door. Torx screw does not seem to hold the unit in.
Any help would be appreciated.

My Driver's side window just died yeserday. How do you know if it's the switch or the motor that needs to be replaced?

Actually my problem was the removal of the switch.
The best method was to grip the unit with needle nose pliers and gently but firmly pull up. The new unit solved the problem.

It is just pressed in. I used a screwdriver and carefully popped it out. Careful not to chew up the edges of your armrest.
