car being towed to a dealer tomorrow, but I'm hoping for help when it comes to seeing if the tech has the right idea

events, rant teh car to about 40 miles to go and bought gas (it is a turbo) did not run out. stopped at a junkyard to look for a lug bolt, no joy. drove another 40 miles stopped at grocery store bought stuff for fathers day. drove about 1.5 miles after. parked car

went to dad's day thing

went to drive home. no start, it turns, but nothing. I pulled a plug and it didn't look wet (I held the throttle to the floor for about 10 sec when trying to start and cranked it for about 4 minutes total) - it also didn't smell of gas.

next I had the better half crank while I looked for spark, it appeared to have none at the coil, or the #5 cyl (not 100% certain here, as it was really bright outside, but I felt no pulse in the wire and saw nothing...)

now I did goof up a right turn and hit the high bevel part of a curb about a week ago, but the car ran fine after, but it has me wondering if there is just a late reaction to a hard curb impact (I turned short, trusted the paint on the curb and was avoiding an out through the in door person?)
