If you have a valid original factory warranty, it all should be covered. The warranty is "bumper to bumper".

Is a used 'certified' warranty the same as 'original factory warranty'? V70-XC70

My "check engine" light recently came on. The local dealership found/fixed a small egr leak but said it was not covered by my warranty.

How about replacing check valves on the windshield sprayers? covered/not covered?

Read the "fine print"! Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware.

I have the "extended" VIP warranty and there is a boatload of stuff not covered that is covered by the original factory warranty. Smog control (of all things) gizmos are not. The door panels would not be covered under the extended VIP warranty, but a power door lock would. I don't know about the certified warranty. Since there is a $50 deductible for the VIP, I'd probably replace my own WSW nozzles, since they are unlikely to list for $25/ea.

Pretty sure there is a FEDERAL LAW that says all smog related items are covered on ALL CARS for 50k miles.
