Erase Codes 850 1994

I was checking the codes on my 94 and could not erase the error code on the on board computer. I followed the directions in the repair manual, but for some reason I could not erase them. Has anyone got a suggestion on how to erase the codes?

sometime this happend to me too... just for get come back few day later and try it will work.... 1994 knowing for have ECU problem...

if all else fail... discontect your battary and leave it off over night... reconnect in the moring this will clear every thing in ECU memory......
