What color is the primer on 850's? 850

This might be a stupid Q but I was just wondering since under the paint chips on my 850, I noticed that the undercoat seemed yellow. Is this normal?

    The top primer coating is gray... the next layer down is a pale yellow. if i remember right 850's use a multiple layer paint system although I can't remember how many off hand. It's all for rust protection etc.

    Hi ya,

    Well i unfortunately had to have a respray done and i was informed that on my car at least (onyx metalic green) that it is a dark grey colour. I had persoannly seen this as is was showing though on the bonnet/hood at the front. They then normally rub this down and apply the paint on top, sorry if the does answer your question totally.
