We have '95 850 GLT 5-speed manual with 119,000 miles. We've done the scheduled maintenances, e.g., oil/filter chg, timing belt, 30K service, 60K service, etc.

Normally, the car idles at less than 1000 rpm in neutral gear. Lately, the car has been idling rough or high at around 1100 to 1200 rpm . . . with the A/C not running.

I've scheduled a dealer to check it out. Any ideas what's causing the rough idling???

Well RMG,

My guess is you most likely have a vacuum leak somewhere. Most folks have trouble at the hose level. Cracking etc..
