Now it could be old age, but I swear I lock my S70 using the remote only to come back the next day and find the car unlocked. This has happened several times. I am sure I am not that forgetful. I asked the dealer to see if there are any error codes in the lock system but they could not find any problems. Anyone else with phantom locks?

I too have had that, only mine unlocks. In fact I've had it where I have unlocked the car, as I was talking with someone and a few minutes later when i go to get in it is locked! My remote only works from close to the door.

Well in the S70 that is normal. For security the locks are designed to relock if the door hasn't been opened within a minute or two of the locks being unlocked. Which my cars does normally, however my car often unlocks itself overnight and sometimes locks the car the second I close the door which could be dangerous if I was to leave the keys on the seat.
