Hey Guys is this a good deal?!? V70-XC70

A 99 V70 for only $12,800...the only problem is that it already has about 90,000 miles. Is it a risk to buy a fairly new car iwth all those miles on it? If it were a honda or toyota there is no doubt it should last another 90k...but I am not familiar with Volvos...by the way the car is on Ebay...item# 1810302198
Thanks!
Jim

Hey Guys is this a good deal?!? (Or someone's nightmare waiting to happen?) V70-XC70

If it had service records, or evidence of service, it could be . Why is it For Sale? For a Volvo it's "barely broken in". I'd like to at least look at it, in all it's glory, scratches and stone chips, myself.

If there were no service history it could be scary. My '98 has 90k on it, but I know where it's been. At least on '99s the TB doesn't need changing until 105k .

At that price I wouldn't be worried about the miles. Keep in mind on Volvos, the pricing and vary significantly based on options. Is it stripped, wrecked previously etc.? Also, I would be surprised if it could be gotten at that price.

Thats my 2 cents, good luck, Thomas
