Sorry, I only read the title of your post! DOH1!
An auto electrical radio shop might be able to help you.
How many wires does each headlight assembly have?
If you have even a cheap multi meter you can probably figure it out.
With the ignition off and the light switch on parking light setting you can test each existing wire to see if it reads 0 OHMS to ground or infinate ohms to ground.
You can carefully use an XACTO knife to expose a short bit of wire to touch the leads to. Do this where you would like to make your connections to the glass light. If you give up, you can tape over the exposed wire.
The wire that reads 0 Ohms to ground is a ground wire.
The wires that read infinate ohms are live wires with 12 volts on them when the headlight is on.
Take the glass headlight and strip the all wires about 1/2inch. If you unplug this light you should be able to determine which wire is the ground by measuring the resistance from the stripped part to pins in the bulb socket or sockets. The wire that is not connected to a pin that lights the bulb is the ground.
You can then ground the glass headlight and touch each stripped wire to see what lights up. Record your findings.
Then turn on the plastic light and use a voltmeter to see which wire is live when each function is on, Record your findings.
With that information, you should be able to wire in your new headlight.
Unless it is a special light that has a transformer attached to it. I cannot help you there - it is above my pay grade!
