Oil leak repair gone bad! V70-XC70

I knew it would be tough one having to remove the Bevel drive to access the leaky turbo drain. Thinking I might just go ahead and reseal the turbo since it was "sludge motor"? However I was careful to support exhaust turbine and could not loosen the nut without breaking the shaft!

What are my options since I will need a new section 30650634, anything that might improve mileage and/or performance? And use the original housings?
Original part # TD04L-14T

not sure which bolt you're trying to loosen, if its the turbo shaft nut...its a reverse thread.

Klaus sent me the rebuild instructions, but I failed to observe nut was LH thread! New CHRA (probably rebuilt) is coming from Ebay.
Was just too much work for an oil leak and not reseal the turbo!
