Sea foam in the oil does nothing. Using full synthetic will clean out any sludge, including the PCV. Remember, cold engines produce a lot of sludge, so if your daughter drives less than 15 minutes per engine start/stop and at low rpm, it means that the engine oil needs to be changed at 3000, or 5000 miles with synthetic.

An engine is never too old to switch to synthetic.
