V70 Drivers seat won't adjust V70-XC70

2003 V70 drivers seat quit working.. I hear clicking sounds when buttons are pushed but no action. Memory spots quit working also. I really don't know where to start with this and its sort of an issue since I adjust the seat back and the wife has it forward... its now stuck in a far back position. Is there a way to manually move it forward?

you mentioned clicking sounds when you pushed the button(s), does it click as long as you engage the buttons? or is it a single click that you are hearing? If the noise is constant (meaning that the motor(s) are working, but no movement) then I would recommend that you unbolt the seat and flip it backward to observe what is going on when you push that button. There are several motors and if any of them crap out the switch will normally die as well. I replaced a couple of switches on my daughter's 2004 v70 last year before I located the motor with excessive resistance.

You can not manually move the seat. You could try moving the seat switch from the passenger side to the driver side. If that moves the seat, forward/aft, I would suspect you need a new seat switch. Don't take off the driver's side switch, just unplug it.

The above only after you check the connections at the front of the seat and check the wiring under the seat. The seat motors have position sensors, and if those wires come loose...
