replacement brake lines...and swaybar links... S70 1998

since I can't do much engine wise on my '98 NA, have gone down the handling/braking upgrade road...ordered the stainless steel brake line kit from IPD...took to my local indy, as my time is precious these days...indy indicates to me kit totally wrong lines, double flare vs. bubble flare, and length incorrect...IPD CSR tells me they sent the correct parts for a '98 car..shout out to them, they accepted my return after five months...was there a mid year model change I don't know about???...a second query...have gone plus one with wheels/tires...car eats sway bar end links, even as I run the IPD heavy duty ones...is there an even beefier product out there?, or is the nature of the beast for S70s to ingest end links on an annual basis??

You might want to try the MOOG brand with grease fittings. Rock Auto has the best price,I recently install this on the 960 and really like them.

It is my opinion that stainless brake lines are overrated and not in the best interest of consumers. They cost too much, salt makes them rust, and they don't last any longer than the rubber lines.

As for endlinks, your problem might be the sway bar itself. The bushings (which are not replaceable) may be worn and that exerts more stress on the endlinks. Of course, pot holes and pavement expansion bumps don't help any.

I believe new bushings were part of the kit when I had the IPD upgraded bars installed...
